Jacareí (SP)
Throughout the years, Mipel has consolidated its brand in the market like one of the main manufacturers of industrial bronze valves.
1945 - Mipel was created to fulfill the necessity of the country producing bronze valves that until then were imported.
1982 – Looking for a strategic location, Mipel began its activities in the city of Jacarei (SP), located in the axis Rio de Janeiro - São Paulo.
1997 - Mipel obtains the ISO 9001 certification ( today ISo 9001:2000 )by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance. This certification guarantees the quality of the processes of the company, fact already recognized by all the clients.
2006 - Mipel obtains the ISO 29001 certification also by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
2006 - Mipel is acquired by the Lupatech group, formed by companies as MNA - Metalúrgica Nova Americana, CSL - Cordoaria São Leopoldo, Petroima, Esferomatic, Gasoil, K & S, Lupatech North America, Valmicro, Valbol, Carbonox, Jefferson, Steelinject, Microinox, Itasa and Aspro.
Veranópolis (RS)
In June of 2006, in the city of Veranópolis in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Mipel-Sul began its industrial activities with the production of manual ball valves made with micro fusion in stainless steel, carbon steel, brass and foundry iron with the Mipel brand, all dedicated to the industrial market, gas and the civil construction. |
